Nothing is more inspiring than when two people celebrate their love for each other. I have been following model Harmony Boucher for some time now. She recently got married to her lovely bride Nicole. These two are not just real life love birds but they also play in a London based band called Vuvuvultures. After seeing their wedding photos on Models.com I just had to share. Their wedding looked nothing short of romantic, chic, and a little punk rock.
Since I was a little girl I have always loved horses. I started taking lessons at age 6 and starting competing at age 7. While I eventually hung up my saddle and stopped competing my love affair with these beautiful elegant creatures never stopped. When I saw that Ermanno Scervino had chosen the contemporary beauty of Dree Hemingway for their new autumn-winter campaign 2012-13 I just had to do a blog post on it. In an almost surreal atmosphere, Dree flaunts the garments of a collection inspired by the equestrian world, showcasing a new concept of non-conventional and free elegance. Patti Smith- Singer, Songwriter,Poet, and visual artist. Most widely known for her music influences in the Punk Rock movement in New York City in the early 70's with her 1975 debut album Horses.
Since I was teen I have been following Patti Smith. So when I saw this editorial shoot with model Anna Albrekht (Chic) I knew I had to do a blog post on this. Stylist Bex Sheers and photographer Darren McDonald teamed up for this haunting editorial homage to Patti Smith. The shoot was featured in issue #3 of Helmet Magazine. Anna emulates Patti in high style wearing pieces from Balenciaga, Burberry, Givenchy, Yohji Yamamoto, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Ann Demuelemeester and Kate McCoy.
