DIY Nail Art

I have always been a huge fan of nail art and have used the Sally Hansen decals many times, but they tend to be really hard on my nails. Lately I have been so inspired by all the fun nail art out there that I decided to try and do my own.

To do this at home:

1.You will need three colors of your choice.

2. An old pen, nail stick, or a nail pencil.

3. Start at the base and paint across the nail filling in close to the cuticle. Let the paint dry then paint the additional two layers.

4. Once all three layers are dry. Choose a color for the polka dots. Find an old magazine or something that you can throw away after you use it and put a big blob of nail polish on it. Dip the end of the pen into the nail polish for each dot. Once dots are dry put 1-2 layers of a top cot for added shine.
