Owner/Designer Briana Ellison has worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years. Although her experience ranges from sales and management to wholesale and production her true passion has always been working face to face with customers in a small boutique setting. She enjoys making the connections with people and building long lasting relationships with her clients. "Meeting people who truly appreciate my vision and the items I have hand selected for my store is what makes owning my own shop all worthwhile!"
In 2009 she started her own jewelry line. After growing her successful line it is no wonder then, at the request and encouragement of loyal friends and family, she made the obvious decision to open her own boutique.
When opening up her store in July 2011 Briana and her father did everything short of welding to create an extraordinary environment for her visitors. Briana came up with the designs and ideas and her Dad brought them to life. "I spent a lot of my childhood hanging out in the garage with my dad while he would work on various projects, so it seemed only fitting that at some point we would be back in the garage building fixtures for my own store." She has her father to thank for her entrepreneurial spirit and drive to get out there and make it happen. "My father started his own restaurant when he was 22 and he just celebrated his 40th year of business. His dad helped him build the tables and chairs to his store back in the 70's. I am truly following in his footsteps and can only hope to one day be celebrating my 40th year in business!"
In addition to the talents her dad bestowed on her, Briana has her mother to thank for her unique sense of style and love for all things fashion related. Her love for fashion began at a very young age. Her mother has impeccable taste and to say she loves to shop is an understatement. "I remember being a little girl and always going to Nordstrom’s with my mom and watching her try on shoes and thinking I wanted to wear the same shoes as her when I grew up". She made sure that growing up I always had the most stylish outfits and I have her to credit for my love of fashion and beautiful things.
It is Briana’s absolute pleasure to share unique lines from around the world rarely seen here in the OC. It is her hope you will stop in and experience the first ever Briana Rene for yourself.
